Introducing Amaya & Co. Technologies: building technology for how African businesses work
· 4 min read
The businesses that keep African economies running — traders, cooperatives, farmers, small manufacturers and service providers — are often the least served by the software industry. Many of the tools that exist were built for other markets, other devices and other ways of doing business.
Amaya & Co. Technologies exists to build for this one. We are a Nigerian technology company designing and building digital products for African businesses, and partnering with businesses, cooperatives and development organisations to build the technology they need.

What we build
Our work is focused on three areas:
Financial management — bookkeeping, credit, savings and cooperative finance for small businesses and the groups they belong to.
Business automation — replacing manual, repetitive work with reliable systems, so small teams can operate like larger ones.
Agricultural intelligence — data and tools that make farming and agribusiness more visible, financeable and productive.
Our first product: KudiAI Track
KudiAI Track turns a trader's phone into a business manager, a savings bank for their customers and a payments terminal. It records sales and expenses, keeps stock under control, tracks who owes you, pays bills, and runs Ajo, Esusu and cooperative savings — across seven connected portals for owners, staff, savers, cooperatives and more. Traders can talk to it in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa. Read more in Meet KudiAI Track.
What we do for other organisations
Alongside our own products, we work with businesses, cooperatives and development partners through eight services:
- Digital transformation — moving operations off paper, spreadsheets and chat threads.
- Custom software development — web and mobile applications built for the devices and connectivity your users actually have.
- Fintech solutions — ledgers, wallets, savings, lending and payment workflows designed so the numbers always reconcile.
- Business automation — invoicing, reconciliation, reporting and approvals handled by reliable workflows.
- Technology consulting — independent advice on what to build, what to buy and what to leave alone.
- Business registration support — guidance through formal registration and the paperwork a growing business needs.
- Cooperative digitisation — member records, contributions, esusu and ajo cycles, loans and dividends, transparent to every member.
- Training and capacity building — practical digital and financial literacy training for teams, cooperatives and programme beneficiaries.
How we work
These are the commitments we make to every business and partner we work with:
- We build our own products. We operate software in the market ourselves, so we build like owners who have to support what ships.
- Designed for local conditions. Mobile-first, light on data and tested on mid-range Android phones — not just on office broadband.
- Security is not an add-on. Least-privilege access, protected personal data and secrets kept server-side, from the first release.
- Honest about outcomes. We tell you what software can and cannot do, and report results as they are.
- From idea to adoption. Strategy, build, training and support from one team, so nothing falls between suppliers.
